Our managers oversee the Innovation Center’s areas of activity, working together to achieve business objectives and identifying the best opportunities to grow the company together with the innovation stakeholders.
An Economics graduate, I have worked in several banking contexts, first of all in the business area followed by HR, where I developed my executive career both in specialized and managerial areas and, such as Head of Personnel. I have been Deputy General Manager of one of the main co-op banks in Italy, holding non business powers. I joined Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center when it was created, and I have followed and contributed to the structuring of its methods, processes and company operating and project instruments as head of Planning and Governance.
I joined the Banca Commerciale Italiana in 1996 after graduating in Economics. In 2013 I moved to Washington DC to work for the International Monetary Fund. Following this, I rejoined the Intesa Sanpaolo group to open and manage the representative office in Washington DC. I am delighted to have been part of the Innovation Center since 2018, managing the Trend Analysis and Applied Research structure, which, together with highly specialized professionals, has the task of studying future trends and carrying out applied research in the field of AI e Neuroscience.
I graduated in Political Science specialising in Economics at the University of Bologna, and have pursued my career in three banking groups, developing my expertise from the start in the business client segment and reaching the position of Head of Corporate and Merchant Banking and later, Chief Lending Officer. I have been a board member of Mac Spa (later AIM Spa di Borsa Italiana), Palladio Leasing (Mediobanca Group) and other groups. I arrived in the Innovation Center of Intesa Sanpaolo in May 2018, as head of Innovation Business Development, as well as being a member of the Investments Committee of NEVA SGR, the Venture Capital fund management company of Gruppo Intesa Sanpaolo.
As a graduate in Business Economics, I began my career in the tax administration area of the Municipality of Turin and later gained a multiyear experience in the insurance and banking industries with particular focus on internal auditing, completing a Master of Auditing and Internal Control at the University of Pisa and the international certifications CIA and CFSA from the Institute of Internal Auditors. Since 2019 I am proud to be a part of Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center’s professional team, primarily coordinating the economic planning and internal company functioning, and later becoming responsible for its comprehensive planning and governance processes.
Graduated in Business Administration, I got a Master degree in Banking & Business Administration at SDA Bocconi in Milan. After holding managerial positions within the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, from the Commercial Network to the International Subsidiary Banks Credit Department, including international experience in the Marketing division of the Croatian bank PBZ, I joined the Innovation Center in 2020. The Communication, Culture, and Innovation Marketing department, which I am responsible for, coordinates initiatives aimed at promoting innovation culture and develops a network of relationships with national and international institutions and stakeholders.
Graduated in Computer Science, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence, I worked for Mobile Value Added Services in a Research Center, where I obtained a master's degree in Telecommunications. In 2006, I joined Intesa Sanpaolo and have always worked in the field of innovation (IT and processes). I’m proud to be part of the Innovation Center since its inception, developing applied research in collaboration with expert colleagues in different context. The aim is to generate new assets and know-how not only for the Group..
I started my career in 1987 in SNAM, then Cedborsa, Citibank and Unicredit, where I held the position of CIO of a digital B2B bank. From 2003 to 2006 I worked in New York as CEO of a financial Broker/Dealer. On my return to Italy, I joined the Intesa Sanpaolo group, where I was introduced to the innovative startup ecosystem, creating services to support startup growth. My work in this area has continued at the Innovation Center, in the Startup Financing and Growth structure, which I have the honor to lead, assisted by an international team of professionals. I am also a company director of Indaco Venture Partners.
An economist by profession, I spent the first ten years of my career in corporate and investment banking in Europe and the Asia Pacific area. After completing my MBA at Hong Kong, followed by a Master’s at Yale, today I have the honor of leading, alongside a team of highly talented people, the initiatives of the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center which support the widely diversified activities of the Group in the field of the Circular Economy, the new sustainable economy paradigm: from the analysis of business models to the validation of taxonomic criteria, from networking to the preparation of scientific papers.
Graduated in mathematics, I began my career in Information Technology, developing technical skills. My commitment to change is realized in 2014 when I joined an area of governance of Intesa Sanpaolo Group dedicated to innovation. Through observation of the market, I contribute to the evolution of the Group's digital propositions also through collaborations with the fintech world. Since 2022 I have been part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center family where I, together with my colleagues, study technological innovation trends and analyze their impacts on the market.
