Innovation Experience | Space Economy - Latitudo40

Space has always been the frontier of the future. Ever since Man first ventured out of his own planet, he has tried to colonize new territories. Space innovations have given great impetus to research and the Space Economy is globally recognized as the next great territory of political, social and economic conquest, as evidenced by the sector's growth estimates up to 2040.

Latitudo40 monitors the earth from space. The startup collects open satellite data and, through a data visualization process, makes them understandable to everyone within a dashboard. The data are used by the municipalities to evaluate numerous parameters related to territorial geography and urban development, both in the past and in the future. This allows administrators to make informed planning decisions.

The startup participated in the second class of Techstars. The HQ is located in Naples. Latitudo means "latitude" in Esperanto the number 40 represents the latitude of Naples.
